Spiritual life (according to the experiences of the Saints) is not the learning of spiritual truths, but the union and relationship that mankind was made to have with God Without Baptism as delivered by the Holy Spirit the day of Pentecost ( no redeeming from all sin) life after death conditions will remain the same as before the coming of Lord Jesus and the creation of His Church where there was no hope no Salvation! And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. “For we have a great Priest who has gone into the very presence of God” He became High Priest and Mediator to His Father enabling those baptized and receiving the Holy Spirit within TO BE REDEEMED FROM ALL SIN, to purify the heart (only God can forgive sins) and become MEMBERS OF A BODY “He is the head of his body, the Church He is the source of the body’s life” ĭuring Baptism a person receives the gifts of the Holy Spirit however it is up to each and every individual to energize them or set them in motion at will based on their greatest gift from God which is their freedom.
Lord Jesus/God Logos became the source (causation) of everything that that takes place in the Body the Church (Holy Sacraments )īy becoming High Priest. This is how Paul verifies that the Church is the Body of Christ! “Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church: After His Ascension Lord Jesus (God Logos) became the "head of the body the Church".Ī head, is a head of a body and a body belongs to a head in a way they are undivided. The Church crerated by the Holy Spirit the day of Pentecost is not an human made organization, but a living god man organism that is Divine. “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself unto him”
Salvation is all about atracting the Grace of the Lord and we must do this with the type of obedience that is born from our true love towards Him. THere in no "power" in the name of Jesus beloved, this is not how Salvation works.
